I live in Leslie Vale on 3.5 acres with my husband Steve and our four children.

I have a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Business Economics and International Business and a Bachelor of Arts with Professional Honours in Public Sector Leadership and Management from the University of Tasmania.

​

I am a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

​

Throughout my professional career I have held senior roles as an apolitical public servant and adviser to governments of both major political parties.

​

As the former Chair of Volunteering Tasmania, I understand the value that not-for-profit organisations contribute to our community and the challenges of ongoing sustainability.

​

As Kingborough’s Deputy Mayor from 2018 to 2022, I helped deliver things residents use every day including the Kingston Park playground, kerbside green waste collection, the Kingston CBD redevelopment and new public toilets. I championed a long-term financial plan linking rate increases to inflation because I believe good services should remain affordable.

​

I promise to work hard to represent you as Councillor and Mayor of Kingborough.

​

As a full-time Mayor, I will lead with integrity, tranparency and accountability.
